Specs Eyewear | Wichita Looks Better Local: Turning Influencer Content Into In-Store Sales

Role: Influencer Marketing Strategist, Campaign Manager and Creator Relations Lead
Company: Specs Eyewear
Deliverables: Campaign strategy, creator curation, influencer outreach, in-store activations, collaborative social content and retail attribution system
Timeline: Ongoing
Campaign: Wichita Looks Better Local
Market: Wichita, Kansas

We developed Wichita Looks Better Local, an ongoing influencer campaign connecting Specs Eyewear with recognizable local creators who reach different communities throughout Wichita. The campaign is designed to build brand awareness, generate authentic social content and turn online engagement into in-store sales.

I research and invite each creator, coordinate their visit with the Specs team and manage the collaboration. During the activation, a dedicated team member provides a personalized frame-styling experience, helps record content and assists the creator in selecting a complimentary pair of glasses.

Creators share their experience through videos, photographs, tags and collaborative posts that also live on the Specs social channels. This gives the brand an expanding library of authentic content featuring familiar Wichita faces.

Because eyewear purchases are completed in-store, the campaign includes a simple referral incentive. Customers receive 10% off when they visit a Specs location and mention the creator whose content inspired them. This connects social visibility with store traffic while helping the brand identify which creator partnerships generate customer interest.
