Eyewear Junkie | Wichita Looks Better Local: Turning Influencer Content Into In-Store Sales

Role: Influencer Marketing Strategist and Campaign Manager
Company: Eyewear Junkie
Deliverables: Creator curation, influencer outreach, in-store activations, collaborative social content and referral tracking
Timeline: 2026–Present
Campaign: Wichita Looks Better Local
Markets: Wichita, Derby and El Dorado, Kansas

I expanded the Wichita Looks Better Local influencer campaign for Eyewear Junkie, connecting the eyewear brand with recognizable creators and community members throughout the Wichita area. The ongoing campaign is designed to increase local awareness, generate authentic social content and encourage customers to visit Eyewear Junkie’s retail locations.

I research and invite creators, coordinate their visits with the store team and manage each collaboration. During the activation, a team member provides a personalized frame-styling experience, helps record content and assists the creator in selecting a complimentary pair of glasses.

Creators share their experiences through videos, photographs, tags and collaborative posts that also appear across the Eyewear Junkie social channels. Featured Wichita collaborators include Garrett Von Flue and Jen Cole, with additional creator partnerships planned as the campaign grows.

The program is designed to expand into Derby Looks Better Local and El Dorado Looks Better Local as I build relationships with creators and prominent community members in those areas. By pairing trusted local voices with personalized in-store experiences, the campaign helps turn social visibility into community awareness, retail visits and customer relationships.
